Fine, relaxed or coloured hair
Start here if your hair is fine, or has been relaxed or coloured recently. Two slow passes at 160°C are kinder than one fast pass at full heat.
Normal, medium-thick hair
The everyday setting for most hair. Smooth and shiny, and gentle enough to use a few times a week.
Thick or wavy hair
For dense or wavy hair that springs back at lower heat. Work in sections about two fingers wide.
Coarse, resistant or blow-dried natural hair
Full power for hair that will not settle any other way. Use small sections, keep the plates moving, and never skip heat protectant.
